ABOUT YOUR TRAINER
RICKIE CLARK
I am, Rickie Clark, an Educational Consultant, Public Speaker, Author and Executive Director of the Fort Worth Independent School District's My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) and My Sister’s Keeper (MSK) programs. I've spent the past 30 years working with the youth of today through self-development, cultural education and understanding and meeting them exactly where they are in life in order to guide them on to higher education.
MBK and MSK is about obliterating the barriers our kids face. It’s about building strong, lasting bridges to opportunity for young men and young women, no matter their background or circumstances into which they were born. It’s about investing in what works, acting with a sense of urgency, basing strategies on data and evidence; also having the courage to call-out and tear-down discrimination in every system and policy where it appears.
I am the author of two books:
What My Daddy Should Have Told Me: Life Lessons for the African American Male
Kindergarten to 12th Grade Can = 13 Years A Slave
